How thick the laser cutting machine can cut the material?

Different power levels of fiber laser cutting machines can cut materials with different thicknesses.

Generally, low-power laser cutting machines can cut thin materials, such as metal plates up to 6 mm thick and non-metallic materials such as wood or acrylic up to about 20 mm thick.

Medium-power laser cutting machines can cut medium-thick materials, such as metal plates up to 12 mm thick and non-metallic materials such as wood or acrylic up to about 30 mm thick.

High-power laser cutting machines can cut thick materials, such as metal plates up to 25 mm thick and non-metallic materials such as wood or acrylic up to 40 mm thick or more.
